November 25, 2024. RAW Talk. The Women’s Intercontinental Championship was introduced earlier in the evening prior to Monday Night RAW. The tournament to crown the inaugural champion will begin on the December 2, 2024 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW. Dakota Kai kicks things off in a first round triple threat match against Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance.

Damage CTRL were ecstatic about this news. An emotional Dakota Kai stated this is everything they’ve been working towards. IYO SKY representing Damage CTRL in the 2024 Women’s WarGames Match and having a shot at the Women’s World Championship then Kairi or Dakota potentially becoming the first ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

The Ladies Magnificent are pumped for this. Damage CTRL fans are equally pumped. Pure Fusion Collective aren’t, intruding on Damage CTRL’s interview time to both make fun of Dakota Kai coming back from another injury and her dreams of championship gold. Sonya Deville threatened that Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark and herself will make sure that Kairi and Dakota don’t make it through the tournament.

Dakota told Sonya to take her shot. Sonya always talks about squaring up yet backed down when stood up to. Zoey gave IYO a dirty look, clearly bitter that SKY still doesn’t like her. Kairi put her hand out in front of Dakota to protect her friend in case PFC took a cheap shot. Shayna, Zoey and Sonya took their leave after Baszler did her card thing that wouldn’t even grade her worthy of being a clown at a kid’s party.

King Kota awaits her next battle against Shayna as part of that triple threat match on December 2, 2024. But first The Captain of Team Kick has Round II against Ivy Nile on the November 28, 2024 episode of WWE Main Event. Kai holds a previous victory over Nile on that show. Can she score another?
