IYO SKY seeks to bring the first of two singles championships to Damage CTRL when she challenges Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, 2024. Leading Damage CTRL by example, Dakota Kai -- who seeks to bring the second singles title to the group in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship -- hoped to soften up Morgan for SKY by facing Olivia one on one.

Dakota had control of the match in the early going, busting out some Evie from her arsenal in the Curt Henning inspired running blockbuster followed by a jackknife pin. Unfortunately, Morgan kicked out. Morgan took over with an array of offense including the triple verticals. But on the third, Dakota would counter with a suplex of her own. King Kota followed with a running face wash and springboard curb stomp.

It would have been a quick transition to Go to Kick if not for Pure Fusion Collective intruding at ringside. The distraction allowed Morgan to slip off Kai’s shoulders. Kai bounced back with a scorpion kick. Attempted interference by Zoey Stark led to Kai kicking her followed by a PK from the apron to Shayna Baszler. Morgan charged at Kai as she re-entered the ring for obLIVion only for Kai to outwit her, rolling her up for one. Morgan retaliated with a codebreaker, sending Kai to the corner where Liv struck her with a charging knee strike.

Morgan leapt off the ropes at Kai for the flying codebreaker, but Dakota caught Morgan with a sit-down powerbomb. Morgan snuck over to the corner as Kai kicked that crybaby Sonya Deville off the apron. Lying in wait like a snake, Morgan evaded Kai as Dakota charged her for the Kaio Kick, instead getting her foot caught on the rope. Morgan spiked Dakota head-to-canvas with obLIVion, keeping her down for the pinfall victory. An unfortunate loss for The Captain, but she succeeded in putting some hurt on Morgan for IYO.

Sonya immediately attacked Kai. If Olivia were a locker room leader and true champion, she would have helped Dakota. But unsurprisingly, she didn’t because Olivia is not a leader nor the greatest women’s world champion ever, she’s just a foul sex maniac obsessed with Dirty D and Chicken Tenders. Before Shayna and Zoey could further the assault on Kai, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane hit the ring for the rescue. Kairi sealed it, taking out PFC with a crossbody from the top rope to the floor. Back in the ring, SKY was spiked to the canvas from behind by an obLIVion from Morgan.

Damage CTRL are surrounded by enemies on all fronts, at every turn. PFC. Olivia Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. But this is nothing new for The Ladies Magnificent. What else is not new is that I must remind you this is Damage CTRL’s division and they will continue to fight to restore the honor to it that the likes of Olivia Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and PFC have stained.

December 14, 2024. Uniondale, New York. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane accompanied their Damage CTRL sister IYO SKY to the entrance but watched her match against Liv Morgan from the backstage area. Morgan left her Judgement Day cronies backstage, shockingly battling SKY all on her own. It was a close contest that Morgan won, retaining the Women’s World Championship.
