Zoey Stark defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Kayden Carter to advance to the semifinal round of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. Dakota Kai will get her shot to defeat another PFC assassin when Stark and Kai meet in the semifinal round. A short while later backstage, Kairi Sane and her arm were found in agonizing pain with PFC leaving the scene. Dakota and IYO SKY hurried to Kairi’s side to prevent any further attack.

PFC got the first strike against Damage CTRL on July 8, 2024. Damage CTRL struck back only for their PFC adversaries to take out Dakota Kai. King Kota returned, leading Damage CTRL to strike back at PFC not once but twice. PFC struck back hard, putting a hurting on Kairi. PFC implied on RAW Talk that with Kairi hurt, a spot has opened up in the tournament for Sonya Deville to slither into. But that’s hardly a guarantee if Kairi can’t compete.

Later during RAW Talk, Dakota and IYO hadn’t received an update on Kairi’s condition but had strong, fighting words for PFC. Dakota’s fed up with PFC thinking they run the division, stating PFC will never hold up to what Damage CTRL has. King Kota decreed once Kairi is good to go, Damage CTRL will put PFC on the shelf permanently. IYO closed things out, shouting that PFC just made the biggest mistake of their lives. You just know somewhere a certain Empress is counting down the days until she's medically cleared.
