The bonds of friendship. We speak often of Dakota Kai and Steffanie Newell (later going by the name Tegan Nox). But they were not alone. They had a mutual close friend in Candice LeRae. This trio were once described as a cupcake with Tegan the icing, LeRae the sprinkles and Dakota holding it together. Another member of their fellowship was Kairi Sane who had been a friend to Dakota since Kai's first tour of Japan.

These bonds of friendship grew as the four trained at the WWE Performance Center and traveled the road for NXT House Shows throughout 2018. Their bonds of friendship, a close sisterhood would play a pivotal role in future happenings pertaining to Dakota, Tegan and Candice. The same for the friendship between Kai and Sane.
