November 7, 2014. TCW Tidal Wave 2014. Nixon returned to TIDAL for a three way match against a familiar face from her first visit along with her future frenemy. The familiar was Ruby Summers, known as Lexi Reckless the last time Nixon fought and defeated her at TCW Enter the Kraken. The frenemy was Kay Lee Ray whom Nixon had only faced once prior, as part of the field of a battle royal at SWE 4th Anniversary on October 25, 2014. It had in fact only been a little over a week since that historic first scuffle between them.
In the future, Ruby would ally with Nixon against KLR, weaved into their legendary tapestry. But on this day, Ruby and Nixon shared only bad blood. Summers was beloved by the TCW fans while Nixon had not yet endured herself, having taken a more aggressive approach during that first match against Ruby. After the bell rang, KLR and Ruby quickly put Nixon on the ignore until Nixon charged at them like a bull. Her locked up opponents quickly broke apart, Nixon crashing head first into the turnbuckles.
Nixon’s second charge resulted in her getting tripped. The third try, a double hip toss that sent Nixon to the floor for respite. A fan had a bag of sweets, offering some to Nixon who took a piece. Then the fan committed the greatest wrong: Disloyalty. That fan flashed the bag at the ring, offering sweets to KLR and Ruby. Disloyalty! So, Nixon took the bag and ran off with it. That served the fan right. Not only did the fan show disloyalty to Nixon, it was a bag not the customary concession stand box, therefore the sweets were snuck it, robbing TCW’s concession stand therefore Nixon… I mean all the wrestlers of a slightly larger payout.
KLR and Ruby went at it, making way for Nixon to sneak back into the fray, pulling KLR to the floor and whipping her into the ring post. Ruby took control for a time once Nixon returned to the ring. Nixon smashed herself control for a bit with a brutal lariat, hard chop and a trifecta of headbutts. KLR soon reentered the battle, all three now mixing it up. Nixon wiggled off the KLR Bomb, ducking a clothesline and striking KLR with a superkick only to turn right around into Ruby’s twist of fate.
Ruby had no chance to go for the pin, slipping around and right onto KLR’s back in KLR Bomb position. KLR crashed Summers onto Nixon to take her out of play, then covered Ruby to score the pinfall victory.
