August 2, 2025. Cambridge, Massachusetts. Sonia. Beyond Wrestling Presents: Boston Hardcore. Nixon Newell made her Beyond Wrestling debut in a Boston Hardcore Match against independent wrestling legend Anthony Greene. Take two hard hitters throwing down in Bean Town, add in anything goes, and that equals a damn good Saturday afternoon. Due to her recent string of loses, this was a must win for Nixon. As expected, Nixon was welcomed warmly by the crowd, taking in the moment before the opening bell sounded.
They locked up, Greene maneuvering Nixon into the corner. Nixon pushed Greene off. Greene pushed back, Newell dropping butt first into the corner. Screw this, Nixon took to the floor to toss some plunder into the ring. This was a hardcore match, she wasn’t going to waste time with the fine art of British technique. Newell thought to toss a trash can into the ring, but halted having another idea. She handed Greene a trash can lid then took one for herself. Nixon told him to take a shot at her. He told her to take the first so Nixon did, smacking him over the cranium, Greene quivering to his knees. Greene came at Nixon for his lid shot. Nixon ducked, firing back with another lid smack to Greene’s cranium.
Nixon whipped herself to the ropes, intending a charging smack only for Greene to smack her to the canvas with his lid. Greene followed with a hard chop to her chest, staggering Nixon to the corner. Nixon fought her way off Greene’s shoulders, tossing him to the ropes and deep cleating him with an uppercut as he bounced off. Newell charged Greene, got caught in wheelbarrow position, but rolled through to land a stomp followed by a superkick. Additional plunder came back into play as Nixon hit Greene three times with a crutch.
Greene was seated in a chair in a corner, his chest slapped hard with a chop followed by a few more. He flipped Nixon off, so she took it as an invitation, obliqued to bite his middle finger, followed by one more chop. Newell climbed to the top, unleashing a barrage of punches to Greene’s head. Nixon hurried to the opposite corner, charging for Cannonboar. Greene moved, Nixon crashing back first into the chair. Pain surged through Nixon’s back, although unlike her recent battles where missed cannonboars set up loses, this time she stayed in the fight. But not without enduring stomps, another hard chop and a bodyslam.
Nixon fought back, Greene getting the better of her each time. Until Nixon briefly turned things in her favor, elbowing Greene as he ran her toward a chair tucked between the turnbuckle pads. It would be Nixon who tossed Greene head first into the unforgiving steel chair. Newell lifted her leg up for a PK but Greene caught her foot, sweeping her to the canvas. Greene upped the violence, revealing a staple gun. Not once but twice did he shoot a staple into Nixon’s cranium. Nixon took refuge on the apron, but her attempt to fight off Greene resulted in a lid shot to her cranium. Nixon fought out of a fireman’s carry position on the ropes, grounding Greene for a crossbody off the top.
Two clotheslines. Greene’s arms were caught, Nixon smashing him with a headbutt. A charging uppercut. Nixon placed the trash can over Greene’s head, taking a trip to the proverbial batting cages, repeatedly striking it with the crutch to torture Greene into the corner. Newell dropped the crutch, immediately charging Greene with an uppercut while the can was still draped over him, followed by the Nixongiri. The can still draped over him, Nixon charged again, this time smashing him with CANnonboar!
After Greene kicked out of a cover at two, Nixon pulled a wooden door out from underneath the ring to place in a corner. Before she could mount offense, Greene lifted Nixon onto his shoulders. Nixon again fought off. They evaded efforts to whip each other into the door. Greene snuck Nixon with a superkick. Nixon caught him for a bridging fallaway slam, but without enough room to land it, instinctively improvised with a powerslam into a cover for two. Greene cut Nixon off on the ropes, draping her over his shoulders and walking with her onto the top rope, dropping Newell to the canvas in a Badd way with a Wild TKO. But Nixon would stay in the fight, kicking out of a pin attempt at two.
Greene was sure he had a winning blow, death valley driving Nixon through the door. But it merely lit a fire in Nixon who mule kicked him silly. Greene was furious, grabbing a chair. Nixon ducked his charge, the chair bouncing off the ropes and Greene smashing his own face with the steel. He fell back right into Nixon’s German suplex. The sit-out gourdbuster got Nixon two. Newell had enough, ready to max out the violence, putting on a kneepad covered with tacks. As she readied a final blow, Greene staggered Nixon with a superkick. Nixon got folded up for two with a sit-out falcon arrow.
Nixon kicking out made Greene incensed. He grabbed the crutch, now intent on symbolically finishing off Nixon with a painful reminder of her past injuries. Nixon pierced a stop to that, stapling Greene’s privates. Internet trolls be warned! Nixon pulled Greene down into a pin but he kicked out. She floated over, immediately mauling his hands with a murder knee strike akin to an old adversary of hers. A trash can lid smashed his face. The Shiniest Wizard courtesy of Nixon’s weaponized kneepad laid him out. 1-2-3. And Your Winner is Nixon Newell.
The crowd chanted “Nixon! Nixon!” as she celebrated her win. Not for too long though as she hurried to the back to nurse her battle wounds. Nixon Newell’s debut for Beyond Wrestling was a successful return to the style of hardcore matches. But more importantly, the win was a necessary momentum builder for Nixon a head of some championship opportunities.
