October 24, 2026. Croydon, Pennsylvania. Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company. CZW x Beyond: Double Burial. Two promotions Nixon Newell had worked for over these last two years came together for a big crossover event. Nixon followed her victory at CZW Tournament of Death 23, asking to still have her originally scheduled match against Mickie Knuckles. At Double Burial, she received. It would be held under Ultraviolent Rules which means there are no rules.
It began with a handshake. They locked up. There was mat wrestling… Until… Yes, you knew that was coming. Hard strikes. Nixon bit Mickie’s forehead, followed by a nasty running PK. This was merely an appetizer. For the gusset plate Nixon now went. Mickie blocked it, using it to headbutt Nixon. Knuckles grabbed another plate, which Nixon took, pounding it into Mickie’s forehead and gussetbutting her. Mickie smashed back with a gussetbutt, the plate falling to the canvas after. Furious headbutts back and forth. A headbutt party? Nah, more like a festival. Hell, is there something beyond a festival? Maybe more like that.
Blood was now flowing from both foreheads. As Nixon respited, Mickie set up carpet strips in the corner. Carpet strips… pieces of wood with nails in them! Mickie set them up, Nixon shotgun dropkicked her into the strips followed by Cannonboar. 1-2-Kickout. A startled Nixon got caught in a piledriver into the strips. 1-2-Kickout. And to the opposite corner Knuckles went, setting up a ball of barbed wire.
Nixon turned the tide, superkicking Mickie close to the barbed wire ball. Newell charged for another Cannonboar, but this time Knuckles evaded it, causing Nixon to smash back first into the dreaded wire. Mickie followed it up, tossing Nixon with a Northern Lights Suplex once more back first into the ball of sharp wire. Nixon was reeling, though fought her way to her feet after Mickie locked in a carpet strip-assisted crossface. Knuckles swiftly rebounded, smashing Nixon with a headbutt followed by a back suplex into the strips. 1-2-3. And Your Winner is Mickie Knuckles.
Mickie got to her feet. Nixon got to hers. They came together in the middle of the ring, heads meeting and furious words exchanged. Mickie gave Nixon a hard tap on the shoulder and the cheek. Nixon blew her back a kiss. Eyes remained locked until Knuckles took her leave. Was that a show of respect and To Be Continued? Only time will tell if this was merely the first battle between The Welsh Dragon and Blood Mickie.
