September 19, 2026. New Houston Premier Arena. Houston, Texas. She’s Hardcore Presents Drop Dead GOREgeous. Nixon Newell has gotten the Deathmatch bug, hasn’t she? Third One within four months. This time the opponent is ‘Vile Villain’ Tara Zep. Although Tara only has a few years of ring experience, she’s already become well-acquainted with the Ultra-Violent Deathmatch Style. Tara also happens to be a student of one of Nixon’s most cunning SHIMMER opponents, Nicole Matthews. I safely assume Nicole infused Tara’s mind with every sick, revolting, awful, horrible, malicious, despicable, cruel thought imaginable… and some not… considering Matthews is know well for her villainy. Fortunately, Nixon can be just as much the villain when she must be. And on this night, she had to be.
Despite being an Unhinged Deathmatch, it began with some classic wrestling holds. But of course, things quickly took a turn to more aggression with Nixon tripping Tara then blasting her with a NASTY running basement rolling uppercut for two on the cover. A rana takedown sent Nixon to the corner, prone to a running knee strike and Yakuza Kick (brings back bad, conflicting memories) followed by a facewash and Tara rubbing her buttocks (covered) in Nixon’s face. Off topic, I want those slushy machines by the Frosty sign.
Tara dropkicked Nixon to the floor where Newell laid in waiting, tossing a steel chair flush in Zep’s face as the Vile Villain charged for a dive. Nixon set up some chairs for something sadistic only to get a chair to her own face from Tara. Zep followed by superkicking the chair into Nixon’s face then there was a murder knee strike that nearly took Nixon’s face off. Nixon caught Zep’s kick, smashing her with a Welsh headbutt, followed by dropping her onto the set up chairs with a gourdbuster.
Things took the expected ultra-violent turn when Nixon pulled out the gusset plate and pounded it with her hands into Tara’s shoulder a few times. Then Nixon grabbed the legendary black bag. You know what’s in there. Let There Be Thumbtacks! Nixon wobbled Tara with a couple blows then climbed the ropes. Tara surprised Nixon with a light tube smash across the face, the glass dripping from Nixon’s head like rain. But that was nothing for next, Tara pounded the gusset to Nixon’s forehead, repeatedly headbutting her drawing blood. The corner carnage ended with Tara sending Nixon onto the tacks via rana.
As Nixon came to it, Tara set up a piece of wood covered in barb wire on top the chairs near a corner. A mix of chair shots and light tube smashes punished Nixon. But those tubes and that wood would also be Tara’s downfall. After a few failed attempts at smashing a bundle of tubes against Nixon failed, Newell had success smashing the bundle flush to Tara’s back. Tara got one last bit of hope, striking Nixon across the back with a steel chair. Her second hope, trying to superplex Nixon off the ropes failed when Newell used brass knuckles to uppercut Zep off the ropes and through the barb wire wood and chairs, keeping her down for the pinfall victory.
